Ms. Mendez

I grew up in the Monterey Bay area of California and was blessed to have loving parents who gave me a priceless foundation for my faith and relationship with Jesus Christ. They also instilled in me a love for golf and hiking. I played golf competitively through college at Colorado Christian University, where I majored in Social Science with an emphasis in Global Studies.

After college, I had the tremendous opportunity to intern in China as an English teacher for children and later serve in the communications department for Samaritan’s Purse in Haiti and Ethiopia.

Following my internships, I moved to Arizona, where I was blessed to work for two remarkable organizations: Alliance Defending Freedom and Canyon Ministries. While working for Canyon Ministries, I had the unique opportunity to lead a variety of tours in the Grand Canyon from a Biblical creation perspective.

I moved to Colorado two years ago and began substitute teaching and have felt God leading me and confirming His call to pursue teaching fulltime.

I am very excited to join Reign Christian Academy and be part of a growing school dedicated to educating and nurturing the next generation of truth seekers and Christ followers.
