Primary Teacher (2nd)

Ms. McCarten

My name is Devin-Rose McCarten, and I’m so excited to join Reign as a 2nd grade teacher. I hold a BA in music and linguistics and an M.Ed from Trinity College Dublin. This is my sixth year teaching; I have a particular love for classical education because it helps students see how everything they learn is connected—not only across subjects, but to the world beyond the classroom.

My faith is an important part of how I approach education, and I love helping children recognize and appreciate God’s presence throughout their learning and everyday lives.

Outside the classroom, I love playing music, studying languages, writing, and spending time outdoors. I’m very excited to get to know your students and to learn alongside them this year!
